Bobby Au Yeung & Cast Promoting Series In Blazing Heat
Yesterday Bobby Au-Yeung, Esther Kwan, Pierre Ngo, Rebecca Zhu, Derek Kwok and Mandy Wong appeared riding on a double decker bus in Tsim Sha Tsui and stopped at a bus stop for TVB series Always and Ever's promotional event. Regarding the hot weather, Bobby was soaked in sweat. He expressed he hoped the next promotion is at a beach: "We can be in swimwear then, and can get into the water when its too hot. (Who do you want to see in a swimsuit?) Everyone!" Bobby recalled 20 some years ago when he was shooting Files of Justice, he had a CPR scene on the beach with Joyce Koi and bought an one-piece swimsuit just for that scene.
Esther joked she'll wear a T-shirt underneath her swimsuit. She disclosed her daughter turned into a "questioning girl" after watching Always and Ever and praised her Uncle Bobby being so cute.

Julian Cheung gets a birthday kiss from Fala Chen
According to Hong Kong media reports, the Triumph in the Skies II stars were in Tseung Kwan O for a publicity event yesterday and took the opportunity to celebrate Julian Cheung's 42nd birthday (on August 27).
Besides receiving a huge birthday cake from the crew, Julian was also given a kiss from his drama sweetheart, Fala Chen.
However, when asked to pick his favourite present thus far, Julian cleverly responded that his son's birthday card was the the best gift received.
Fala Chen, on the other hand, was probed by reporters regarding her relationship with ex-husband, Sit Sai-hang.
The actress, who was previously rumoured to have asked for HK$200,000 (about S$30,000) worth of alimony from the latter, denied the claims and mocked, 'The press is getting very creative in their stories these days. I don't even know which report to believe in.'

Kate Tsui & Sharon Chan On Bad Terms Surfaces
Kate Tsui and Sharon Chan have been long time "old enemies" since The Beauty of the Game when they were rumored on bad terms. Yesterday the two attended the costume fitting of TVB new series Midas with the other cast including Bosco Wong, Nancy Wu, Ben Wong, Toby Leung and Fred Cheng. At last, this time Kate had good friends Bosco and Nancy by her side and won't be forced to "produce scenes" opposite of Sharon as in their previous series My Prime Lady, thus at the costume fitting, Kate and Sharon had zero interaction. Even when Sharon was introducing her character, Kate acted like she wasn't there as she continued to chat with Bosco and Nancy on the side. During the big group picture, Toby Leung was initially in between the ladies, but then she moved away. The two were forced to pretend and be friends, but quickly separated right after the picture!
Reporters later contacted Sharon to comment on the "zero interaction", she denied and said she had no comment. Kate tried to shift the attention to Bosco's rumors, she said: "I think Bosco has so many rumors, its nonstop! Its like a cramped subdivided flat. (But you've been at the door!) I was just a passerbyer. This time, I hope to create new sparks with him, but I'm determined to end the rumors! Actually, he is younger than me, I don't like young kids!" Bosco laughed off the "subdivided flat" analogy and said Kate is like luxury best selling home.
Meanwhile, the other rumored pair Bosco and Nancy played along and didn't seem to have been affected by their bad terms rumor. When Nancy introduced her role as Bosco's wife, she took initiative to link her arm with Bosco's and said he was her husband. Nancy expressed in her interview: "Bosco is very relaxed collaborating with me because he doesn't have to worry about spreading rumors. (Your boyfriend careless about Bosco?) I'm not necessarily within Bosco's options either! Perhaps I'll tell him to behave and just concentrate on work! (You guys didn't have rumors before?) He had one with Eliza Sam. We just had on bad terms rumor! But, that is still better than relationship related rumors."
When speaking of Kate portraying a lesbian in this series and that she'll have an ambiguous relationship with Nancy, she immediately sweet talked and praised Kate. She joked: "We may have a kiss scene, Kate is known to have tender lips. I can try out her little cushion, but it's not confirmed yet. After all, this topic is still on the sensitive side. Perhaps our line will just be implied."

Grace Wong injured on the set of "Tiger Cubs 2"
It was reported that TVB actress Grace Wong was recently involved in a minor accident at the set of the upcoming series, "Tiger Cubs 2".
As reported on Apple Daily, on 9 August, the actress, who was filming a scene that required her to run down a mountain, tripped over some discarded litter and fell down.
Upon doctor's assessment, it was revealed that she had torn her ligament and that her foot had to be bound in a cast.
On her Weibo, Grace revealed, "The MRI showed that 90 percent of my ligament was torn, and the doctor advised me to rest for a couple of weeks. As an active person, resting at home is a bit frustrating, but I will take all precautions and will not waste everyone's sacrifices and support."
Despite her injury, the actress still made an appearance at the "Voice Of Stars" recording in crutches.
This is not the first injury recorded at the set of "Tiger Cubs 2". Earlier, actor Him Law fell onto glass fragments and injured his back.

Mistakes in 'Always & Ever', Bobby Defends: "No Big Deal!"
Yesterday Bobby Au Yeung was on a radio interview to promote for TVB new series Always and Ever. When speaking of the ratings, Bobby joked: "I heard it was 60 points, averaged 59 points and peaked at 64 points. If this rating report is true, I will go nude swimming as Justice Sung. Esther Kwan watching from the side would be sufficient!"
Bobby did not pay attention to Netizens' comments about the mistakes in the series. He did not understand why the audience watches the series and focuses on the background setting rather than the characters. He said: "We filmed the outdoor scenes at the Lai Chi Kok Park. Perhaps the post-production didn't notice the metal fence. (The metal fence is fine?) They even had the metal springs from the mattress, what is the big deal with metal railings? I hope the audience will stop complaining. After all the complaints, I'm afraid there will no longer be another place we can use for filming."
Bobby had looked at Netizens' comments on the series. This time, most people find Always and Ever a comedy, they teased Bobby is always unlucky causing the female lead in the series to die, such as Jessica Hsuan and Marianne Chan in Witness to a Prosecution and Kenix Kwok in A Pillow Case of Mystery. Netizens named Bobby "Slaughtering Pig Man". Bobby said: "The characters are either alive or dead. The female artists whom had worked with me before, they are doing great! Look at Ada Choi, Esther Kwan, Kenix Kwok, they are all married with children, so happy!"
It was rumored Nick Cheung is in depression and had to sleep in a separate room away from his wife Esther. Bobby joked: "Did Nick do something wrong? He and Esther had always had a good relationship. Perhaps the husband (Nick) has a movie playing now and the wife (Esther) has a series airing, that's how the rumors came about. Treat it as promotions!"

TITS2 Cast Promotes at the Hong Kong Aviation Club
Yesterday Francis Ng, Chilam Cheung, Fala Chen, Ron Ng, Nancy Wu, Kitty Yuen (Siu Yee) and the rest of Triumph in the Skies II cast attended the promotional event held at the Kowloon City Hong Kong Aviation Club. This is Fala's first attendance at a TITS2 promotion. We are already half way through the broadcast of the series. The plot has already developed to Fala dating "Cool Mor" Chilam, but because she couldn't let go of her late boyfriend, they broke up. Unfortunately Cool Mor misunderstood her, thinking she fell for "Sam Gor" Francis. It was rumored, Fala ends up with Sam Gor in the end and the playboy Cool Mor ends up alone. Myolie Wu and Ron Ng end up as a happy couple after overcoming several twist and turns.
Francis expressed in a Mainland interview that the ending is everyone dying from a plane crash. However, yesterday he laughed and said that was just one of the possible endings. He said: "What series ends up like that? If so, then the TV ratings will be 100 points." When speaking of last night's episode scoring a high rating of 33 points at the scene when Sam Gor finally unties the "knot in his heart", Francis modestly said: "I don't remember what I did, you all are just giving me face."
Appearing at her first TITS2 promotion, Fala expressed she is prepared to treat the entire cast and crew dinner. She also disclosed she purchased a very nice 1970s bottle of red wine from an auction in the U.S. and will be sharing it with her colleagues at the dinner. Asked when she's going back to the U.S.? She said: "Not sure, the school hopes I continue my education. I have to thank TITS2 for bringing me a lot more jobs. I'm currently looking at scripts, but not as many as what the rumors are saying, that I have some 10 scripts to choose from. There are some English scripts, some are Mandarin scripts, but I'm not heading to Hollywood." Yesterday at the promotion, during the games, it was "uncovered" that Fala was familiar with her role or the theme song. Also, in last night's episode during the scene where Fala is laying on her bed, a Netizen spotted what appeared to be a "M stain" (from Menstrual period) on the bed sheet.
Chilam's birthday is on August 27th, he said: "Not going to do too much, just going to watch TITS2 with my wife to celebrate." Chilam apparently mentioned he had relationship problems? Chilam expressed he had never said that before. When asked about his relationship with his wife Anita Yuen? He said: "Just like what you all see, there is no reason for me to say we are sticking together!"
Rumored couple Ron Ng and Kelly Fu played games during the promotion. Kelly used coffee to describe love, while Ron used water to describe love. Ron later said: "Luckily I'm water!" Kelly appeared embarrassed.

Esther Kwan makes a TVB comeback collaborating with her best on-screen partner Bobby Au Yeung in the new series Always and Ever, which premiered last night. The premiere averaged at 27 points, peaking at 30 points. There were widespread compliments on Esther's outstanding acting; her acting is several skill levels higher than Myolie Wu and Fala Chen; she and Bobby are really matching. Esther Kwan to Make a T-Back for Bobby AuYeung to Wear for High Ratings
Yesterday Bobby Au Yeung and Esther Kwan attended TVB new series Always and Ever promotional event held at Tai Po in the bitter hot weather. The cast appeared dressed in their costumes under the blazing heat. Dressed as Justice Sung, Bobby disclosed his undergarment was already soaking.
Bobby expressed since Esther Kwan agreed to be in her ancient costume for the promotion, he also didn’t decline to either. He hopes Always and Ever’s premiere will get a TV rating of 44 points and even if there is a “20% discount”, the rating can still be 34 or 35 points. Lately the TVB ratings have been going back up, Bobby joked he hopes to “hold hands with TITS” and charge up with them. Hopefully Always and Ever will take some of their light and keep the audience going. Also, Esther expressed there has been a lot more paparazzi following her lately, and have seen then run the red traffic lights, such dangerous actions.
Esther expressed she initially wanted to wear her 50s costume to the event, but she gained some weight and couldn’t fit into the costume. She said she has expectations on the TV ratings, Bobby suggested to celebrate high ratings by wearing a T-back, Esther said: “And I’m responsible for making the T-back for him, I’m afraid he wouldn’t be able to buy one.” She hopes Always and Ever's ratings could be as good as TITS2 because costume dramas isn’t as fancy as TITS2. In Always and Ever, she and Bobby will have "restrained" intimate scenes, which differs from the usual intimate scenes involving body contact. Nick Cheung had physically trained to get "chocolate" muscular abs for his new film Unbeatable, Esther disclosed her husband has returned to his normal figure, he gained some weight, but there aren't any sags. She feels Nick is much more spirited now.
