Wilson Chin makes changes to "Lan Kwai Fong 3"

Director Wilson Chin recently dismissed rumours that actress Christine Ng has been called to replace the retired DaDa Chan in his upcoming movie, "Lan Kwai Fong 3".

As reported on Wenweipo, on 14 August, the director admitted that he has already removed the actress from the cast list, but denied that Christine will be taking her place.

Wilson clarified, "I have removed DaDa from the movie, whose parts take up a quarter of the whole film and added in new actors. But Christine is not her replacement. She has been cast a long time ago for another subplot."

Meanwhile, in regards to rumours that Gregory Wong, Whitney Hui and Mika Siu will lose their roles due to the changes in the script, Wilson clarified, "Not true. Whitney was originally just a guest star. As for Mika, we have yet to make any decision. Most of the changes do not concern them."

When asked if he had the opportunity to talk to DaDa, Wilson shook his head and stated that even her manager, Celia Sie was not able to get through to her.

He then added that the filming for "Lan Kwai Fong 3" has been delayed for a week because of the changes.
